March 19, 2024 – On Tuesday morning, the NJ Alliance for Action hosted the new key leader in town, PSE&G Managing Director of Transmission and Substation Construction and Maintenance, Lauren Thomas. A standing-room-only sell out crowd jammed into our meeting room to connect with Thomas and her team about the latest projects and investments being made in PSE&G transmissions and substations improvements.

For many Alliance for Action members, this was their first time connecting with Lauren. In her new role, Lauren is directing nearly $21 billion in capital investments over the next five years. The transmission investments are focused on upgrades to support future electrification demands, including upgrades to over 70 substations.

“PSE&G is one of New Jersey’s best corporate neighbors. The work being put out by Lauren Thomas and her team is tremendous for New Jersey’s infrastructure and creates thousands of jobs,” Alliance for Action President Jerry Keenan said. “The Alliance for Action is glad we can give our members the chance to speak with her.”

The Alliance for Action is action-packed for the next few months with events. Make sure to be at the next one! On April 18, the Alliance will host an Inside Scoop meeting with PSE&G Michael Gaffney, Executive Director of Gas Construction, and Brian Clark, Vice President of Gas Operations.
