NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (October 30, 2025) – Six industry leaders who have dedicated their careers to building lasting and remarkable impact in construction and in New Jersey were honored this morning at the 51st Annual Eagle Awards.
“Today we’re recognizing the individuals who are on the front line of the Alliance’s mission to build a better future for New Jersey’s residents, environment, and economy,” said Alliance for Action President Jerry Keenan.
A crowd of over 400 joined the Alliance to celebrate this year’s recipients:
• George Norcross, Chairman of Board of Trustees of Cooper Health System, Cooper University Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper
• Rick Cotton, Executive Director of The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey
• Liza Pope, Executive Vice President of Preconstruction at HC Constructors Inc.
• William Brooks, Senior Vice President of Capital Delivery at NJ TRANSIT
• Vaughan “Chip” Grundy, President & CEO of IEW Construction Group, Inc.
• David R. Bruce, Business Manager & Secretary-Treasurer of Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 322
The Annual Eagle Awards are a long-standing tradition of the Alliance to recognize industry leaders for outstanding efforts to better New Jersey’s economy, environment, and construction industry. This honor reflects a lifetime of dedication to Building A Better Future for every person in New Jersey and the Alliance for Action was proud to recognize this year’s well-deserving award winners.
