February 8, 2024 – Kevin Corbett, the CEO and President of New Jersey Transit, shared details of his agency’s efforts to convince FIFA that New Jersey had the infrastructure to handle the 2026 World Cup final and other preliminary round games.

Corbett unveiled renderings and other plans for a new bus terminal that will transport fans directly to MetLife Stadium from the Frank R. Lautenberg Rail Station at Secaucus Junction. The Secaucus Meadowlands Transitway Project was instrumental in the successful bid.
