MONROE, NJ (January 13, 2026) – Decision makers leading the charge on the highly anticipated Netflix Studio Construction at Fort Monmouth made their first public appearance to a crowd of 300 business, labor, government and industry leaders at NJ Alliance for Action’s “Lights, Camera, Construction” event this morning.

Netflix Director of Program Delivery – Studios Kenneth Falcon and Director of Studio and Production Affairs – North America Nick Maniatis walked attendees through more than 70 renderings, photos and videos of the 292-acre site, detailing nearly $1 billion in investments to transform the former military base into a world-class production campus featuring:

• 12 soundstages totaling nearly 500,000 square feet

• Production and office buildings

• A cafeteria

• Retail shops and more

“The scope of the Netflix project is jaw dropping. It’s a historic win for New Jersey and it’s great news for the economy, jobs and property values,” said NJ Alliance for Action President Jerry Keenan. “This is what we mean when we say we’re Building A Better Future in New Jersey.”

The project is expected to create thousands of construction and permanent jobs, boost local businesses and deliver major economic benefits to Monmouth County and the entire state.

Netflix officials joined Governor Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy and Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill and others in Oceanport yesterday to celebrate closing on the purchase of the Mega Parcel .
