April 2, 2024 – The Alliance for Action kicked off its April events schedule with a packed lineup at the Middlesex County Chapter Meeting held in Edison, New Jersey.

This County Chapter is co-chaired by business, government and labor leaders:

  • Bernie Cooke, President of Middlesex County Building & Construction Trades Council
  • Ron Rios, Middlesex County Commissioner Director
  • Tony Coscia, Head Partner, Windels, Marx, Lane & Mittendorf LLP

Congressman Frank Pallone gave Alliance for Action members the latest details on the impact of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on Middlesex County.  He also spoke about the importance of the recently renewed Transportation Trust Fund and its significance to New Jersey’s jobs, economy and quality of life.

Billions of dollars are being invested on Middlesex County bridges, roads, parks and other infrastructure.

Anjum said the county  is investing more than  $102 million on infrastructure. Buczny provided progress updates on the  Helix NJ Health & Life Science Exchange construction project.   Schaefer detailed almost $1 billion in renovations and repairs to existing stations like New Brunswick and North Brunswick with new construction to come. Leonardis and Earley shared details about their companies’ clean energy goals.

“There are great investments being made in Middlesex County.  They’re transforming  the region. The Alliance for Action looks forward to continuing to work alongside our members to keep these vital projects moving,” said Alliance for Action President Jerry Keenan.
