MONROE (June 12, 2026) – The Alliance for Action honored five pioneering women leaders in the construction industry today at the 6^th Annual Salute To Women In The Construction Industry.

The honorees represent leadership roles across utilities, organized labor, healthcare, construction management and clean energy. They are:

• Natalie Chesko, President of Aqua NJ. She’s responsible for 185,000 households across our state and their daily need for drinking water.
• Kathy Kronberger Press, a leader of the Women’s Apprentice Committee for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 322. She was among the first women to join that union and has helped open doors for the generations that followed.
• Linda Corso, current President of Professional Women In Construction of NJ and Project Executive for Turner Construction. She has proven herself at every level of construction project management.
• Lauren Thomas of PSE&G. She is VP of Clean Energy Solutions — Customer Solutions. Thomas has had broad exposure over two decades in delivering major utility construction projects.
• Julie Herb, Vice President of Facilities Development, Virtua Health. She oversees major facility development projects for South Jersey’s largest health system.

Our awardees told compelling stories of professional challenges during their acceptance speeches. They uniformly agreed that meeting those challenges was well worth the effort.

“The Alliance’s annual Salute To Women In The Construction Industry is our chance to celebrate women pioneers. They’ve been true trailblazers and each inspires with their compelling personal stories,” Alliance for Action President Jerry Keenan said.

Since 2021, the Alliance for Action has honored women pioneers in the construction industry. With this year’s class, more than 30 women have received the recognition.
