Newark, NJ (December 5, 2024) – Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Chairman Kevin O’Toole brought his key staff to speak at the Alliance for Action’s “Upcoming Construction at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey” event at NJIT in Newark today.
A standing-room-only crowd got inside details from Port Authority of New York & New Jersey:

Key highlights from the presentations included:
- The enactment of the EWR Vision Plan with Terminal B, which includes new airport access, a new Air Train, and other major upgrades.
- Construction of the new Port Authority bus terminal over the next five years, with work set to begin next year after obtaining final funding and NYC approvals.
- Construction of new access roads, as well as dock, dredging and wharf maintenance at the Ports of Newark and Elizabeth. This will help the PANY&NJ reach its goal of doubling capacity by 2050.
